Here are ten dogs who are known for their bravery and heroism: 

 

  1. Stubby the War Dog: Stubby served in the trenches of World War I and is said to have saved his unit from mustard gas and shell attacks. He was also credited with capturing a German spy. 
  2. Chips: During World War II, Chips was a war dog who served in North Africa, Sicily, and Italy. He is said to have attacked enemy soldiers and saved his unit from an enemy grenade attack. 
  3. Sinbad: Sinbad was a Coast Guard dog who served during the Korean War. He is credited with saving the lives of many sailors, and was awarded several medals for his service. 
  4. Diesel: Diesel was a police dog who lost his life while working in the Paris attacks in 2015. He was sent into a building where terrorists were holding hostages and helped to locate the terrorists, allowing police to neutralize them.

  7. Xander: Xander is a search and rescue dog who has helped to locate people after natural disasters, such as earthquakes and hurricanes. He is trained to locate people buried under rubble and debris. 
  8. Bella: Bella is a guide dog who helped her blind owner escape from the World Trade Center during the 9/11 attacks. She is credited with leading her owner down 69 flights of stairs to safety. 
  9. Rufus: Rufus is a search and rescue dog who has helped to locate missing people, such as hikers and children, in remote and rugged terrain. He is known for his incredible sense of smell and his ability to work in tough conditions. 
  10. Hero: Hero is a therapy dog who has brought comfort to people in hospitals, nursing homes, and schools. He has been credited with helping people to heal and overcome their fears.
